If you are in the Dallas - Fort Worth Area and seeking out other Machine Knitters, we urge you to come and join our group.
We hold meetings once a month at the Grapevine Public Library, a stone's throw from DFW International Airport. Meeting time is 10:30 am on the second Saturday of the month. We normally finish up by 1 PM.
We have all levels of knitters in our group from beginning to advanced. All machines are also represented.
Every month we have our program followed by a brief business meeting and Show and Tell that is bound to inspire you. When you come, bring something that you have knitted to show us. It can be as simple as a swatch up to an entire garment!

Welcome to the Home Page of the DFW Machine Knitters Guild.
We are located in the Dallas - Fort Worth, Texas Metroplex.
At our November Meeting, Arlene demonstrated a sew as you go baby afghan and a swirl baby afghan. She showed us several techniques including the sew as you go technique, how to hide yarn tails for easy finishing, and grafting on the machine. Arlene even had handouts with instructions for the afghans. Thanks Arlene for a wonderful, well thought out demonstration.
Our our next meeting will be December 12 at 10:30 am at the Grapevine Public Library. Nancy will talk about yarns for machine knitting. We will also have a party so in addition to your show and tell, please bring a Holiday Snack to share with the group.
